More than 70 years ago, four Italian men came up with the idea of ​​experimenting with foam rubber and elastic tapes for the furniture market. This led to the founding of a company in Milan, which later became Arflex. In 1951 they presented their first designs at the Triennale in Milan, where one of the designs was awarded with a golden medal. In the following years, many more prizes followed, as well as many great collaborations with major brands and top designers like Vincent van Duysen and Yaakov Kaufman.
