The Italian company Baxter is relatively young. Founded in 1990 but supported by an age-old
entrepreneurial tradition and flourishing in the fertile landscape of Brianza in the northern Italian region of Lombardy, where more large Italian furniture manufacturers originated. There, where everything revolves around traditional craftsmanship and the love of natural materials, which refer to the wooded area. Baxter owes its worldwide fame mainly to its characteristic leather upholstered seating furniture in authentic hues. And while the recognisability of this brand still seems to be guaranteed in the classic Chesterfield, Baxter has built up a very contemporary and quirky collection over the years. They do this together with a team of top designers, such as Paola Navone and Studiopepe, who, while representing different styles, jointly exude a stylish, coherent contemporary atmosphere.
