Flexform (MOOD)

The Italian family company Flexform was founded in Brianza, which is considered to be the furniture production district of Italy. Like so many great masters of Italian design that have grown to become leading furniture brands, this family company is also deeply rooted in the historic setting of the many small artisan workshops.
Since the 1960s, Flexform has been working with various top designers, like Antonio Citterio, who also give Flexform visibility beyond the borders of Italy. This resulted, among other things, in the opening of various flagship stores worldwide.

After ‘bestseller’ Groundpiece, Flexform launched the already iconic MOOD collection; a complete furniture line of sofas, chairs, tables, cabinets and accessories. Until 2005, the American designer John Hutton was responsible for the MOOD collection, which he gave an international, sophisticated look.
The MOOD collection could be called ‘furniture for gourmets’. They look calm with their round shapes and soft tones, but have playful details at the same time and the use of materials is luxurious and surprising. MOOD represents the very best from Flexform’s past. We are happy to show this to you in our showroom in Amstelveen. And for the ultimate Flexform experience, we’d like to receive you in the cosmopolitan style flagship store in Amsterdam, which we opened in 2017.
