GHYCZY is a family heirloom, founded in 1971 by acclaimed architect and designer Peter Ghyczy, whose prolific career has pioneered techniques of furniture making that have influenced the design industry for 45 years. Nestled in the flatlands of Swalmen in the Netherlands, the GHYCZY atelier continues to produce seminal and ever growing new works. Timeless design, technical mastery, meticulously sourced materials and highly skilled artisans are what make the enduring GHYCZY name faithful to its commitment “made to last a lifetime of use”.

 In addition to tables, seating elements, lighting, desks and accessories, there is also a so-called “Master Series”; a limited selection of luxury stand-alone objects, made with exclusive materials and special finishes. Because this involves traditional processes, GHYCZY is able to customize objects.

GHYCZY is also selective when it comes to selling its products. Co van der Horst is therefore very proud of the fact that we can present the furniture of GHYCZY in our showroom in Amstelveen.
