Molteni Design Furniture

Angelo Molteni started his own company in 1934 at the age of twenty-two, in the Brianza region, which is thé furniture district where many large Italian interior labels, such as Baxter and Flexform, originated.
At the end of the 1940s, Molteni already employed more than 60 people and rapidly developed from studio to factory. He then joined a group of leading entrepreneurs, who together organized the first edition of Salone del Mobile in 1961. The label was already praised at the time for its broad vision, honest working methods, continuous high quality and collaborations with leading designers such as Gio Ponti.

Today, Molteni enjoys international fame with no fewer than six hundred stores worldwide and with Belgian top designer Vincent van Duysen, who has been appointed as Creative Director. In the Molteni range you will find the Heritage Collection, in which the design classics from the past 85 years are displayed. And of course the modern collection, which consists of design furniture and modular cupboard systems, that can be used in both living spaces and in wardrobes.
