In 1951, two brothers from Sweden, Uno and Östen Kristiansson, started designing and manufacturing design lighting by hand. Intended for both public and private living spaces. Their mission was to create an optimal harmony between material, design, functionality and durability, with the greatest possible care and attention to detail. During the last sixty years, they have produced millions of fixtures that have been sold worldwide. Rubn’s contemporary designs are now based on a wealth of knowledge of design, art, architecture and life itself. It is up to designer Niclas Hoflin to combine this knowledge with his own creative ideas and the skills of the best professionals.The collection of various hanging lamps, floor lamps, wall lamps and table models has a perfected, minimalistic simplicity. They are all designed to last and can be used in various living styles.
