Walter Knoll Design Furniture

The German company Walter Knoll produces very high-quality furniture on an international level for both the business and the private market. However, it started small. In 1865
Wilhelm Knoll opened a leather workshop in which he sold luxury handbags,
exclusive clothing and leather furniture. The second generation, in the person of
son dear Walter, was more ambitious and founded a new company, which was taken over by Benz in the ’90-ies.

Walter Knoll’s furniture collection ranges from avant-garde classics and design icons to new, contemporary award-winning designs. In addition, they work closely with top designers such as Toan Nguyen.
In addition to furniture, Walter Knoll also has a rug collection called Legends of Carpet. These hand-knotted rugs, inspired by the beautiful African landscape, are made in Nepal with the best wool, silk and nettle yarns.
